A world-class R&D environment — and a place to grow.

I worked at Eldorado Research Institute, one of Brazil's most prestigious centers for technology innovation.

My time there wasn't a single role — it was a trajectory. I started as an intern, progressed through the trainee phase, and grew into a Junior Product Designer position, taking on increasing ownership of design execution within a fast-paced, engineering-driven environment.

02 — The Approach

An "engineering-first" design mentality.

Operating within a world-class R&D environment, I established an "engineering-first" design mentality — designing not in isolation, but in constant dialogue with the people who would build what I designed.

"Deviners" Sessions
"Deviners" — Designers + Developers — was a term and concept originally created by a coworker. I adopted it and applied it across every project I worked on, facilitating and conducting these sessions to bring both disciplines into direct, structured dialogue throughout the project lifecycle. It became a decisive practice for keeping alignment with developers from start to finish.
Fidelity to Intent
These sessions ensured technical implementation stayed strictly faithful to the original design intent — closing the gap between what was designed and what was shipped.

I utilized the Triple Diamond process alongside Jira-based sprint workflows to optimize the path from Discovery to Delivery — drastically reducing the communication gap between designers and engineers.
